Jennifer Blazina creates large frosted glass panels, bearing imagery derived from her archive of old family photographs. Enlarged and silkscreened on to the reverse side of the panels, the viewer sees the images in soft focus through the thickness of the glass as if looking at them across time. Nostalgic pieces, they convey both joy and longing.

Blazina teaches art. She has taught and lectured at the Corcoran Gallerry, the University of Maryland, and Indiana University.
