Founded in 1976, Prakapas Gallery was one of the earliest galleries to focus on photography of the 20th century. Early on, the gallery installed well over 100 exhibitions to introduce overlooked or new artists. Today these artists have received their much deserved recognition. Meanwhile, Prakapas continues to search for rare and important works, works that are not found elsewhere.
